How to Add an Audio Player in WordPress

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to add an audio player inside a WordPress post so your readers can just click the play button to hear content, comments, music clips, pronunciations, etc. Click on “Continue reading” to learn how.

Step 1 – From the admin panel, go to ‘Plugins’ section

“Installed” and then click the “Add New” button at the top.

Step 2 – Search for ‘WP Audio Player’

In the Plugin search box, type ‘WP Audio Player’
and click ‘Search Plugins”

Step 3 – Select the Plugin

Step 4 – Click to Activate the Plugin

Step 5 – Choose Your Insertion Point in Post

Step 6 – Click the ‘Add Audio’ Icon

Step 7 – Click ‘Select Files’

Click on "Select Files"

Step 8 – Choose an MP3 audio file from your computer
